Nominations for the 2026 awards have now closed. We’ve been blown away by the applications we’ve received, so thank you to everyone who entered! We’re currently working with our expert panel and celebrity judges to determine the winners, which we’ll announce in June.

The dinner lady who’s made lunchtimes extra special, the school chef who’s always been a hero, or simply someone who’s dedicated their career to making sure kids have access to delicious, nutritious food at school.

The Golden Spoons

Winners of the Good School Food Awards are presented with a Golden Spoon trophy as well as some incredible prizes and surprises, including brilliant bundles from our partners Tefal and Weber, equipment and resources for their schools and special days out. One lucky school will win in a Zactiv Workshop and one years free subscription to the Zactiv School Day app, run by the brilliant Zack George, AKA Steel from the Gladiators.
